LS 620 - Seminar in the Social Sciences Credits: 3 Focus on a particular social issue, theme, or topic provides the substantive core for this course. The seminar seeks to provide insight into the various ways by which the social science disciplines-especially economics, cultural geography, history, political science, psychology, sociology-contribute to understanding the social institutions which shape society. Topics vary. Note that three of the seminars numberED 610 through 640 are required for most MALS degrees. Normally offered every fall and spring.
