*All students must take a second-year WIC (Writing Intensive Course). Beginning in Fall 2022, all students will take a third-year WID (Writing in the Discipline) course.

* Students may satisfy language and other IECA requirements through study abroad programs by carefully planning their program of study with their academic advisor and the Office of Global Education.

*All students must complete a major or minor in French, German, or Spanish, or a minimum of 16 credits in Chinese or Japanese language.

* Courses taken to fulfill major requirements may be presented in fulfillment of General Education Requirements where applicable. If a student is pursuing an additional major or minor and there are overlapping courses, the following restrictions apply: An additional major requires at least four courses of at least three credits each beyond those courses in IECA.
