*All students must take a second-year WIC (Writing Intensive Course). Beginning in Fall 2022, all students will take a third-year WID (Writing in the Discipline) course.
* Students may satisfy language and other IECA requirements through study abroad programs by carefully planning their program of study with their academic advisor and the Office of Global Education.
*All students must complete a major or minor in French, German, or Spanish, or a minimum of 16 credits in Chinese or Japanese language.
* Courses taken to fulfill major requirements may be presented in fulfillment of General Education Requirements where applicable. If a student is pursuing an additional major or minor and there are overlapping courses, the following restrictions apply: An additional major requires at least four courses of at least three credits each beyond those courses in IECA. An additional minor requires at least two courses of at least three credits each beyond those courses in IECA.
