Religious Studies: 6 Cr.


Writing Intensive Course: 3 Cr.


Writing in the Discipline


Capstone Writing Assignment


The Capstone Writing Assignment (CWA) requirement may be fulfilled by completing a department-designated assignment, often assigned in capstone courses. Senior standing recommended.

Cultural Diversity: 3-4 Cr.


One of the following options:

  • World Language 203 or higher Credits: 4
  • Cultural Diversity course Credits: 3

Humanities: 6 Cr.


Two courses, one each from two different areas:

  • Fine and Performing Arts Credits: 3
  • History Credits: 3
  • Literature Credits: 3
  • Philosophy Credits: 3

Social Sciences: 6 Cr.


Natural Sciences: 6-8 Cr.


Quantitative Analysis 4 Cr,


Note: some majors require MATH 131 

Health and Wellness: 1 Cr.


Major Field Requirements


A student must complete one disciplinary science major (astronomy, biology, chemistry, computer science, data science, geography, mathematics, meteorology, physics, psychology) and:

  1. A science minor, OR
  2. A neuroscience minor, OR
  3. A non-science disciplinary or interdisciplinary major, OR
  4. Secondary Education Minor , OR
  5. The Fundamentals of Business Minor , OR
  6. The Business Administration Minor , OR
  7. The Business Analytics Minor , OR
  8. An Engineering Minor (College of Engineering ), OR
  9. The Geographic Information Systems Minor , OR
  10. The 32-credit Environmental Science Complementary Major 

    OR two minimum disciplinary science majors (astronomy, biology, chemistry, computer science, data science, engineering, geography, mathematics, meteorology, physics, psychology);

    OR the 52-credit Environmental Science Major

    OR complete at least 40 credit hours in the first major.

Note:


No more than 60 credit hours from a single subject area may be applied toward the 124 credit hours required for graduation.
