ME 453 - Advanced Materials Science Credits: 3 A comprehensive overview of nanomaterials in terms of the synthesis, characterization, properties and applications. The course covers the fundamental scientific principles of synthesizing nanostructured materials and nanocharacterization techniques such as SEM, AFM and nano-indentation. Existing and emerging applications will also be discussed.
Prerequisite(s): ME 252 .
