MATH 220 - Discrete Mathematics Credits: 3 An introduction to mathematical reasoning, algorithm analysis, and the concepts that provide a mathematical foundation for computer science. Topics include a review of sets, logic, proof techniques including mathematical induction, counting techniques, recurrences, RSA cryptography, graph algorithms, applications, and elementary analysis of iterative and recursive algorithms.
Prerequisite(s) or Corequisite(s): MATH 126 or MATH 131 .
