This course covers the development of humanity and art. Beginning with proto-human ancestors, students will look at what people have made, the traces left, and the identities developed and celebrated through their art. It develops students’ critical capacity to understand the significance of art in order to better understand the origins of visual culture.

General Education: May be used to fulfill the Humanities: Fine Arts component of the General Education Requirements.
