LS 610 - Seminar in the Humanities Credits: 3 By focusing on a particular issue, theme, or topic, which provides the substantive core for the course, this seminar explores the various ways by which the humanities-especially literature, philosophy, theology, and the languages-contribute greater insight into our individual and common humanity. This seminar is recommended as a first course in the student’s MALS program. Topics vary. Note that three of the seminars numberED 610 through 640 are required for most MALS degrees. Normally offered every fall and spring.
