ENGL 603 - Seminar in Literature for Children Credits: 3 A study of the great children’s literature of the past and the present, of the value that literature holds for children, and of the criticism of that literature with the aim of developing a set of critical standards for the evaluation of books for children and their selection for school use. Includes a scrutiny of representative scholarship as well as the handling of many bibliographical tools.
