ED 604 - Foundations of Educational Psychology Credits: 2 This course will examine the contributions that psychology can make to educational practice. Students will explore child development theories, learning, and motivation. The implications of psychological theory for educational research and practice will be central. Other topics include: social and cognitive processes, learner differences and learner needs, diversity issues in education and psychology, motivation in learning and teaching, creating learning environments, and teaching and assessing.
