ED 573 - Elementary Science & Math Methods Credits: 4 A study of techniques and instructional materials for teaching mathematics and science in the elementary school. Topics include sequencing, diagnostic and remediation strategies, and appropriate use of concrete materials in planning, organizing, implementing, and evaluating instructional practice. This course includes assessment practices for mathematics and science education and a field component.
Prerequisite(s): Admission to Teacher Education.
