MUS 115 - Introduction to Music Technology

An introduction to the standard uses of music technology. The course includes instruction regarding the basic uses of a digital-audio-workstation, setting up amplification and recording equipment, the uses and functions of different cables and types of microphones, signal flow, editing audio recordings, sharing audio online, and the use of MIDI devices and software instruments. No previous musical experience is required.
