An application of mathematical methods such as differential equations and elementary matrix algebra to the study of infectious diseases, and analyze outbreaks and control methods (such as vaccinations).

Prerequisite(s): MATH 126 or MATH 131, and one of STAT 140, STAT 240, BUS 205, PSY 201, or CE 202.
