Humanities Minor

The minor in humanities is ordinarily pursued in conjunction with the Christ College Scholar program of studies but may be pursued independently from the Scholar requirements. Any student, whether or not a member of Christ College, may earn a minor in humanities.

Minor Requirements (Minimum 18 Cr.)

CC 325 - Seminar Credits: 3 (may be repeated)

One Course From the Following Options:

CC 205 - Word and Image Credits: 3
CC 255 - Interpretation: Self, Culture, Society Credits: 3

Four Courses From the Following Options:

CC 205 - Word and Image Credits: 3 if not taken above
CC 255 - Interpretation: Self, Culture, Society Credits: 3 if not taken above
CC 300 - Seminar Credits: 3 (may be repeated)
CC 325 - Seminar Credits: 3 (may be repeated)
CC 455 - Inquiry in the Liberal Arts Credits: 3
OR an approved course through study abroad or immersion programs. Credits: 3

Note:

The humanities minor is intended to be complementary to the student’s overall degree plan. As such, no more than one course used to fulfill the requirements of a minor in humanities may be used to fulfill the requirements of any other major or minor.
