Humanities Complementary Major, B.A.

The complementary major in humanities is ordinarily pursued in conjunction with the Christ College Scholar program of studies,but may be pursued independently from the Scholar requirements. Any student, whether or not a member of Christ College, may earn acomplementary major in humanities.

General Degree Requirements

Bachelor of Arts Degree Requirements (124 Cr.)

Major Requirements (Minimum 24 Cr.)

One Course From the Following Options:

CC 205 - Word and Image Credits: 3
CC 255 - Interpretation: Self, Culture, and, Society Credits: 3

Seven Courses From the Following Options, at Least One of Which Must Be CC 325:

CC 205 - Word and Image Credits: 3 OR
CC 255 - Interpretation: Self, Culture, and, Society Credits: 3

if not taken above

CC 300 - Seminar Credits: 3
CC 325 - Seminar Credits: 3
CC 455 - Inquiry in the Liberal Arts Credits: 3
OR an approved course through study broad or immersion programs Credits: 3

Note:

A course used to fulfill the requirements of a complementary major in humanities may not be used to fulfill the minimum requirements of any other major or minor.
