SOCW 555 - Generalist Practice with Families and Groups

This course expands the focus of theory and practice to work with groups and families. Students study and practice engaging, assessing, and intervening at the mezzo level. Intervention theories, including solution-focused and narrative theories, and skills are presented. Previously learned theories from SOCW 520 and SOCW 560 are used to develop assessment and intervention strategies.

Prerequisite(s): SOCW 510, SOCW 520, and SOCW 560.
