GEO 364 - Wetlands Credits: 3 Wetland ecosystems play an integral role in the physical, chemical, and biological processes on Earth. This course focuses on building wetland soil and hydrology knowledge with an emphasis on understanding and identifying hydric soil characteristics and aspects of surface and subsurface hydrology for wetland identification. Regional and local field trips provide natural and restored wetland environments to study. Field trips are required. Graded A-F
Prerequisite(s): Sophomore standing or above.
