SOCW 356 - Genrlst Pract W/ Individual & Families Credits: 3 An integrated theory and practice course that introduces the planned change process and the Generalist Intervention Model for social work practice. Theories, concepts, and ethical models are presented as a framework for generalist social work intervention at the individual and family level. Students will learn practical skills on how to conduct a bio-psycho-social assessment and discharge.
Prerequisite(s): SOCW 151 , SOCW 220 , and SOCW 240 . General Education: A Writing in the Discipline course.
