PHIL 220 - Buddhism Credits: 3 Also offered as: THEO 261.
A survey of the major ideas and ethical concerns of the Buddhist tradition from its canonical origins through the rise of the Mahayana to Zen. Readings will be drawn from classical sources.
Prerequisite(s): One course in Philosophy or THEO 100. General Education: May be used to fulfill the Cultural Diversity course component of the General Education Requirements.
