MET 103 - Introduction to Meteorology Credits: 4 Credit Configuration: 3+2, 4 Cr.
An introductory course providing a general overview of atmospheric science with emphasis on mid-latitude cyclones and anticyclones, air masses, atmospheric stability, precipitation processes, and convection. Course includes a laboratory component.
Prerequisite(s): MATH 110 , MATH 125 , or placement higher than MATH 110 in the math placement process. Students may register concurrently for MATH 110 (or MATH 125 ) and MET 103. General Education: May be used to partially fulfill the Natural Sciences component of the General Education Requirements.
