ME 477 - Solar Energy Technology

The fundamentals and applications of solar energy systems are developed and discussed. Topics include residential water heating, residential and commercial space heating, electricity production from photovoltaic systems, and solar concentrating systems. The subject is an application of thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, heat transfer and power electronics.
