MATH 266 - Transitions in Mathematics Credits: 2 In this class, students prepare to become professional mathematicians. Major course components are 1) a study of common proof techniques using linear algebra and number theory as foundations, and 2) finding and reading mathematical literature.
Prerequisite(s): a WIC course and MATH 264 . Corequisite(s): MATH 299 . General Education: A Writing in the Discipline course.
