KIN 388 - Methods of Teaching Health K-12 Credits: 3 An introduction to current school health programs, including content and methods of health education. The course will survey basic wellness issues such as nutrition, fitness, sexuality, drug abuse, and chronic and communicable disease prevention. The theory and practice of health education programs at the K-12 levels are discussed, including the use of a variety of methods and the development of relevant materials.
