HIST 492 - Reading and Discussion Seminars Credits: 2 Maximum Credits: 3 Full- or half-semester courses cover a variety of subject areas with subtitles and content dependent on student interest and instructor choice. In recent years these have included Slavery in the Americas, History of the American South, American Environmentalism, Pearl Harbor, American Immigration History, and Cuban Revolution. Appropriate topics may be designated to fulfill the requirement in European history, history of the Americas, or non-Western history. May be repeated for credit, provided that the topics are different.
Prerequisite(s): junior or senior standing or consent of the chair of the department.
