GKRO 201 - Antiquity on Stage: Drama in Greece/Rome Credits: 3 A study of Greek and Roman drama in translation with emphasis on cultural background, value, and influence. Close reading and discussion of works from Aeschylus, Sophocles, Euripides, Aristophanes, Plautus, Terence, and Seneca. Introduction to literary analysis and critical writing. No knowledge of Greek or Latin required.
General Education: May be used to fulfill the Humanities: Literature component of the General Education Requirements.
