GEO 330 - Remote Sensing of the Environment Credits: 3 This course develops technical and methodological skills needed to analyze digital remote sensing data to study Earth’s environments. Topics will include image processing, classification, feature extraction, band indices (e.g. NDVI), and change analysis for mapping and modeling. Emphasis will be placed on applications, culminating in a project and presentation. No prior remote sensing experience is needed.
