ENGL 342 - Grammar, Style, and Editing Credits: 3 This course explores the rules and patterns of English grammar. Students will develop a more thorough understanding of English grammar and apply this knowledge to study literary style, to strengthen their own writing and editing, and to teach English grammar. The focus is on Present-Day English with attention to how grammatical variation may reflect disciplinary or genre conventions and rhetorical considerations.
Prerequisite(s): ENGL 180 or junior standing.
