ED 295 - Social Studies for Elementary Educators Credits: 3 The class explores the interdisciplinary content areas of economics, history, political science and geography. This course includes modules focused on the content areas that make up Social Studies, the integrated study of the social sciences and humanities to promote civic competence. This course will prepare elementary teachers to instruct Social Studies in grades K-6.
Prerequisite(s): Admission to Elementary Education program.
