SOC 240 - Food Systems Credits: 3 This course uses a sociological lens to trace the history of agricultural transformations in the United States and abroad, and the political dynamics of where, why, and how we grow, harvest, process, package, distribute, eat, and dispose of food. Students will consider their own relationships to food and agriculture and evaluate how they can make local and global food systems more sustainable and just.
