ME 363 - Machine Design I Credits: 3 The application of specialized topics in mechanics of materials to the design and analysis of machine elements. Topics include combined stress, contact stress, stress concentration, fatigue, deflection, and theories of failure. Stress principles are applied to springs, bolts, joints, and general machine elements.
Prerequisite(s): (ME 102 or ME 104 ), ME 125 , and ME 215 .
